Official Rules

Are you eligible?

NO PURCHASE OR DONATION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THIS CONTEST. Eligibility, however, is limited to legal adults (as determined by the entrant’s state or province of residence; i.e., over 18 or 19, as applicable). Only one entry will be accepted per email address; those entering more than once may be disqualified. Entries must be submitted between August 1, 2008, and midnight November 30, 2008 to be considered. Offer void where prohibited.

How We Select the Winner

Winners will be chosen at random in on December 1, 2008, and notified via email. If the winner does not reply and accept the trip within two weeks of the sent email, by December 15, 2008, another winner will be chosen and the first winner will lose their rights to the trip. The winner has one calendar year from the date of notification to take their trip. Winners must coordinate their trip through ACA, and will not be able to make their own flight arrangements beyond electing travel dates. ACA will not take responsibility for flights purchased by individuals and will not reimburse individuals for flights purchased through their own means. The winner must notify ACA two months in advance of travel to make arrangements. ACA will not be responsible for trips taken within the two-month time range.

About the Prize

ACA will provide round-trip airfare for two from one of the following cities: Washington DC, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, or Houston to Cusco, Peru via Lima, Peru. Winners must fly from the listed city closest to their residence and the decision is ultimately at the discretion of Amazon Conservation Association. Travelers must start and end their trip from the same airport; winners are not permitted to return to a city different from that which they started. If a winner misses their flight, either departing or returning flight, ACA is not responsible for payment for a new flight or reimbursement for any expense incurred. If a winner changes their return date after having departed, they are solely responsible for any additional fees which may be incurred.
